Inter Miami are one of the newest expansion sides in Major League Soccer but have already begun to develop their trophy history. Vice City gained their first piece of silverware in 2023.
The Herons finally emerged in the 2020 season to realize David Beckham’s long-held dream of creating an MLS outfit. He first put plans in place to one day launch a team in 2007 when the England legend moved to America as a player. It took him 13 years to see it become real.
Now, Vice City have silverware in the trophy cabinet to show for Beckham and Inter Miami’s co-owners’ efforts. So, in case you ever need reminding, here is a list of the Herons’ titles…
Inter Miami have won the Supporters’ Shield once
The Herons picked up their first Supporters’ Shield crown in 2024, earning the accolade of the MLS team with the best regular season record.
Inter Miami finished top of the Eastern Conference, picking up 74 points on the way – the best-ever record points tally in an MLS season.
Inter Miami are yet to win an MLS Cup
Inter Miami are yet to win an MLS Cup since the expansion franchise entered the division in the 2020 season. The Herons have also rarely reached the play-offs after falling short in the play-in round in 2020. Nashville SC ended what could have been a dream start for Vice City.
Miami’s second shot at an MLS Cup crown came in 2024 – they, however, were knocked out by underdogs Atlanta United in the first round.

Inter Miami have won the Leagues Cup once
Inter Miami won the first piece of silverware in the club’s trophy history during 2023 with an inaugural Leagues Cup honor. The Herons triumphed in the third edition of the tournament between MLS and Liga MX sides. It was also the first edition with all 47 teams in the leagues.
As the 2023 Leagues Cup victors, Inter Miami also automatically made the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup Last 16. While CONCACAF further named Lionel Messi as the best player in the 2023 tournament. The 2022 World Cup champion was also its top scorer with 10 goals.

Inter Miami are yet to win a US Open Cup
Inter Miami are yet to win a US Open Cup trophy through their entries in the competition’s history. The Herons have competed in the USA’s knockout cup competition in each of their seasons as a club so far. But lifting silverware in the tournament has so far eluded Vice City.
