Julian Gressel has showered Luis Suarez with praise after the Inter Miami star’s sensational performance last night against Orlando City.
The former FC Barcelona and Liverpool striker finally arrived in MLS as Suarez bagged a brace and assisted two more goals in a brilliant 5-0 win against Florida rivals Orlando.
The result took Inter Miami top of the Eastern Conference and gave the rest of MLS a strong reminder that the Herons are here to challenge for everything this season, with Suarez leading the line.

And speaking to the Miami Herald, Gressel was full of praise for Suarez, with the MLS superstar assisting both of the Uruguay international’s goals in the first half.
Gressel said on Suarez’s performance against Orlando: “He left it all on the field without talking, and it is obviously very nice and it gives the whole group a good feeling when he is doing that type of stuff.
“Two goals, two assists, and an unbelievable assist as well where he is on a hat-trick in the first half and instead squares the ball to Robert [Taylor]. I think that shows who he is, that shows what he does for this team, and how important he is.
“To have a guy like him on the team with that individual quality, I think we saw it today. That is something that is certainly good to have moving forward.”
