Luis Suarez was reportedly left angry with Inter Miami youngster Tomas Aviles after Al-Nassr’s first goal this afternoon.
The Argentine youngster was named in Tata Martino’s starting XI as Lionel Messi was named on the bench, with Al-Nassr also missing their superstar forward in Cristiano Ronaldo due to injury.
Yet it was a case of ‘No Ronaldo, no problem’ for Al-Nassr, who steamrolled Inter Miami 6-0 in what was one of the Herons’ performances to date in the Messi era of the club.

And as per the Athletic’s Paul Tenorio, Suarez was physically angry at Aviles after the centre-back’s poor defending allowed Talisca to open the scoring for Al-Nassr.
Indeed, Aviles showed his age today against Al-Nassr, with the Argentine youth international clearly in need of improving if he is to make it at Inter Miami and against the best in the world.
Tenorio reported: “Luis Suarez is clearly not happy with Aviles after the goal. He keeps pointing at him and holding up three fingers.”
Al-Nassr defeat will be a wake-up call for Tomas Aviles at Inter Miami

Aviles arrived at Inter Miami last year with a massive reputation from South America, with the defender regarded as a potential Argentina senior international and a talent who could become a superstar.
Yet the first few months in Florida have been rocky for Aviles, with the centre-back yet to really find his feet since being signed by Martino in 2023.
And today’s fixture against Al-Nassr will be a real wake-up call for Aviles, who now knows that his Inter Miami career needs to kick off if he is to realize his potential this season.
