Apple TV pundit Andrew Wiebe has pointed out how Sergio Busquets helped Inter Miami come back to beat MLS rivals DC United on Saturday.
The Herons went 1-0 down in the opening half with the Florida franchise looking primed to lose yet again on the road and without Lionel Messi in the matchday squad.
However, Inter Miami turned things around thanks to Leandro Campanga and a brace from Luis Suarez, who came off the bench to rescue the three points for Tata Martino’s side.
Sergio Busquets moment spotted in Inter Miami’s 3-1 win vs DC United

Yet speaking on MLS Wrap-Up, expert Wiebe noticed how Busquets talking with fullback David Ruiz after DC United opened the scoring saw Inter Miami concede fewer chances down the right.
With the home side failing to break Inter Miami down after their opener, the talk with Ruiz seemed to have worked for the Herons, with Busquets showing how his communication skills are as important as his technical ones.
Wiebe said when detailing Inter Miami’s comeback against DC United: “20 minutes in, after DC score, Sergio Busquets starts chatting, especially with right-back David Ruiz.
“That’s where the pressure had eaten Inter Miami up, and all of sudden, there were big switches in transitional play, and once that happened with those physical gifts and intellect, 3-1 is your final result.”
Sergio Busquets’ mentality will win Inter Miami points this season

Busquets might not be the flashiest player in Inter Miami’s squad, but there’s a good reason why the Herons shelled out good money to sign the FC Barcelona legend alongside Messi last summer.
The veteran midfielder is one of the smartest players to play the game in the last 20 years, with Busquets’ intelligence and understanding of the sport something that has won Barcelona and Spain major honors.
And this alone will help Inter Miami this season, with Busquets putting his intellect to use on Saturday in a big way against DC United for Inter Miami.
