Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni has praised Lionel Messi for his ‘incredible’ start to life with Inter Miami.
Speaking to the Argentina FA’s official Twitter account, the 2022 FIFA World Cup-winning coach has been impressed with how Messi has taken to life in Florida and adapted to MLS.
Messi has already led Inter Miami to Leagues Cup glory as well as the US Open Cup final, and Scaloni believes the 36-year-old can go one step higher with his new club.

Scaloni said: “Messi is fine, I see him happy, I see him joyful, and that’s a good thing. In the end, what he needs is to be well, to be in a comfortable place, for him and his family to feel happy, and with his team-mates as well.
“So that’s what is noticeable, happy and enjoying football, which in the end is where he feels happy, inside a pitch. His presence is already incredible and both his team-mates and opponents generate something special.
“Then, in addition to the game, he will bring to the league and to the whole country something essential, which is that everyone wants to watch him. His presence is already too much and I think he is still more than qualified to keep playing football.”
Messi can make Scaloni proud with more Inter Miami success

Messi at Inter Miami has been nothing short of a revelation, much to the surprise of absolutely nobody. Yet the forward can reach that next level his national team manager is alluding to.
The South American superstar has transformed Inter Miami into arguably the best club in North America, and success in the Open Cup and now in MLS is achievable for the Herons with Messi on their books.
It will take some effort, but given how good Messi is and his where his standing is in the halls of the all-time greats, the forward can be the man to create a dynasty at Inter Miami in MLS.
