Inter Miami has until April to finish its roster business.
On January 19th, Major League Soccer released its key dates for the 2024 transfer window.
Though the Herons have been busy signing players, according to the league, the Primary Transfer Window doesn’t officially open until January 31st and runs until April 23rd.
Additionally, the Secondary Summer Window opens on July 18th and ends on August 14th.
Already, Miami has signed the likes of Luis Suarez, Julian Gressel, and soon-to-be defender Nicolas Freire.
In MLS, the roster squad size is limited to 30. With its current makeup, the Herons will need to get rid of a few players to fit roster compliance.
The are rumors that forward Nicolas Stefanelli could be on the move to accommodate this.
Inter Miami’s preseason plans

Roster business aside, the men in pink are preparing for an exciting 2024 season by taking on El Salvador on January 19th.
The Fort Lauderdale-based side is set to take a 25,000-mile trip across the world in preparation. They’ll be playing friendlies in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Dallas, Texas, and Hong Kong.
Miami manager Tata Martino already spoke about his intention to rotate the team as much as possible.
We understand the business side and sport side, and we try to have both coexist without exceeding one or the other,” he said.
“We have to balance how much each players participates. The games in Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and Japan were planned from the end of last season, and we will be ready for those. The question is how we we manage the first two games against El Salvador and Dallas because those are so soon.”
