Inter Miami secured their third win of pre-season with a 3-1 result in Panama against Sporting San Miguelito.

Having gone 1-0 down in the first-half, the Herons responded through wonderkid midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi before new signings Tadeo Allende and Fafa Picault wrapped up the win with a goal each after the restart.

With Inter Miami confirming the signing of Maximiliano Falcon earlier in the week, two new signings scoring in a pre-season win against Sporting San Miguelito has come across as an encouraging sign for Javier Mascherano’s side heading into the 2025 MLS season.

And Inter Miami fans were particularly impressed with Allende’s performance having signed on loan from Celta Vigo.

Allende impresses in Inter Miami’s win vs Sporting San Miguelito

Taking to social media, Inter Miami fans shared their joy at Allende scoring his first goal for the club, with the Argentine winger looking the part after two more than underwhelming performances for Inter Miami leading into last night’s game.

Signed as a replacement for Leonardo Campana, the 26-year-old winger could become a key part of Inter Miami’s system under Mascherano with the attacker capable of playing multiple positions and roles in the forward line.

And Inter Maimi supporters were impressed with what they saw from Allende in Panama, with the attacker finally up and running for the Herons this pre-season with two games left to go before the serious business in MLS begins.

One Inter Miami fan reacted on Instagram: “May it be the first of many, Tade!”

Whilst another Inter Miami supporter wrote: “Finally showing his quality, fantastic goal against a good team.”

Another Inter Miami fan wrote: “Suarez to Allende, I can get used to this.”

Whilst another supporter posted: “We could have a great weapon here if Allende can keep up this sort of form.”

Who do Inter Miami play next in pre-season?

Inter Miami have won all three of their pre-season games so far this winter, with two of them coming from penalty shoot-outs with the Herons looking in goof form heading into the 2025 season later this month.

After last night’s win in Panama, Inter Miami next head to Honduras to face CD Olimpia, a game Mascherano will be hoping to test out all of his new signings before ending the tour with a Florida derby against Orlando City SC.

Indeed, Inter Miami have looked good this pre-season, and with a few more signings through the door, the Herons could be well-placed to challenge for everything this year with Lionel Messi leading the line.
