Inter Miami has its first injury of the season.

During their 0-0 draw against El Salvador, attacker Facundo Farias suffered an ACL injury after a nasty tackle from behind.

The club subsequently confirmed the youngster’s injury after undergoing a test once back in the United States.

Miami is expected to sign attacker Agustin Palavecino in place of the injured 21-year-old, but that still doesn’t mean that the sting of Farias’ injury doesn’t hurt.

Many supporters were heartbroken after the news, with many sending their sympathy.

“Wow he will lose the whole year? Full year playing with Messi and the Olympic games, all lost. Poor Farias, should be devastated,” one fan said.

Another commented: “It’s so terrible.”

Others were furious that El Salvador was unnecessarily rough.

Wtf was El Salvador thinking in that game?

“They were snapping legs like it was the World Cup finals or something in a friendly match against an MLS club,” another supporter stated.

“Damn. That ES player was out of pocket. They should’ve let Gregore whoop his [behind,]” another agreed.

All in all, though it is a loss, Miami has several players on the wings who could fill in. Robert Taylor, Nicolás Stefanelli are options for the Herons. Additionally, the potential signing of Palavecino will help.
