Inter Miami have officially confirmed that Benjamin Cremaschi will be out for up to three months due to a sports hernia injury.
The Herons has been struck with an injury curse this pre-season having already lost star prospect Facundo Farias to a season-long ACL problem, keeping the Argentine out of action for the year.
With Inter Miami out in Saudi Arabia, there had been fears that Tata Martino’s side could endure another painful blow in their squad given their gruelling schedule this winter.

And as per the club’s official website, such news has now come in the form of Cremaschi, who could miss up to three months of action out on the injury table.
One of the breakout talents in MLS last season, Cremaschi formed an incredible partnership alongside Sergio Busquets and Lionel Messi, with the teenager earning a USMNT call-up due to his efforts.
However, it will now be some time before Cremaschi is back on the pitch, with Inter Miami’s options in midfield now looking rather precarious after this latest injury blow.
Inter Miami will hope Benjamin Cremaschi returns from injury soon

Given the nature of Cremaschi’s injury, there’s every chance that the midfielder could return ahead of schedule if rehabilitation goes smoothly in the coming weeks.
And for Inter Miami, the Herons will want Cremaschi back as soon as possible, especially after the impact the teenage midfielder made last season under Martino.
The USA international is one of the most exciting prospects in MLS and one of Inter Miami’s own having up through the club’s academy and being born in Florida.
And this year promises to be a big one for Cremaschi, who can take his game to new levels alongside his teammates in what could be a historic year for Inter Miami.
