Inter Miami winger Robert Taylor is reportedly eager to land a new contract with the forward’s current deal set to expire in December.
The Finnish international has been one of the success stories of Inter Miami since Lionel Messi’s arrival at the club last summer, with Taylor striking up a real connection with the reigning Ballon d’Or winner on the pitch.
And this season has again see Taylor impress, with the 29-year-old scoring Inter Miami’s first goal of the 2024 MLS season as well as finding the back of the net on Saturday against Orlando City.
Robert Taylor now eager to sign new Inter Miami contract

Now, according to AS, Taylor is keen to extend his stay in Florida and to sign a new contract with Inter Miami, with the attacker’s deal with the Herons set to expire at the end of this season.
Given how impressive Taylor has been since the arrival of Messi, it makes sense why the attacker is eager to remain in Florida and to continue his career alongside the greatest of all time.
And for Inter Miami, there is no real reason why the Herons shouldn’t be opening talks right now to extend Taylor’s contract, with the winger proving to be a key player for the MLS giants.
Indeed, the Finnish international has stepped up big time since the arrival of Messi, and a new contract is more than deserved for Taylor heading into the final months of his current deal.
Inter Miami need to get to work right now on new contract

The arrival of Messi has raised the performance levels of a number of Inter Miami players, yet few have been as noticeable as Taylor in recent months.
The attacker went from relative unknown to an international star alongside Messi with the pair forming an unlikely yet productive partnership.
And for Inter Miami, Taylor more than deserves a new contract, with the Finland international proving he is more than good enough to star alongside the best in the world in MLS.
