Jordi Alba has named three Inter Miami players when asked to build his dream soccer player, including Lionel Messi.

The former FC Barcelona defender has gone somewhat under the radar in Florida after joining Messi and Sergio Busquets at Inter Miami in the summer.

Alba joined Tata Martino’s side as part of the club’s massive push to increase the quality in their squad, with Luis Suarez being added to the mix this January alongside two-time MLS Cup champion Julian Gressel.

And when asked by MLS’ official Instagram account to build his dream soccer player, Alba was quick to back his Inter Miami teammates, naming Messi, Suarez and Busquets in his selections.

Indeed, given how long Alba has played with the trio and how much success the defender has enjoyed for both club and country with these players, it’s no real surprise that the fullback has stuck loyal to his friends.

Yet it also paints the picture of just how good these three players, and Alba, still are in their career, and the quartet could be influential in Inter Miami winning even more silverware in 2024.

Alba is one of the most decorated players in the history of soccer having won everything there is to win with Barcelona das well as starring for Spain during their golden generation.

And at Inter Miami, the 34-year-old left-back will want to add to his trophy cabinet, with Alba one of the best fullbacks in MLS and a player who is driven by silverware and success.

With Inter Miami adding Suarez to their ranks and Messi fired up for the new season, there’s every chance that the Herons can add to their Leagues Cup triumph last year.

And Alba can again be key to Inter Miami’s success, with the defender a figure who will be a mainstay for Tata Martino’s side when fit and ready to play.
