Jordi Alba has revealed what he’s now noticed about Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez’s fitness levels in Inter Miami training.
The attacking duo had injury-hit pre-season as travel and prior issues arose for Messi and Suarez as the pair were unable to start or feature in every game for Inter Miami.
With Messi causing an international incident in Hong Kong, the fitness surrounding the Argentine and Suarez has been a major source of worry for Inter Miami fans heading into the new season.

Yet speaking to the Mirror, Alba confirmed that both Messi and Suarez are physically fine, with the pair looking comfortable in training ahead of Inter Miami’s MLS season opener tonight.
Indeed, the fitness of Messi and Suarez will be key to the Herons success this season, with the attackers easily the two best players in MLS by quite some distance.
Alba said: “Physically they are both fine. Everyone plays what they are comfortable playing. We can’t choose one tournament, we want to win all of them. Game by game and win all of it.”
Jordi Alba will hope Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez can stay fit all year for Inter Miami

It might seem harsh to pin all of Inter Miami’s hopes and dreams on the shoulders of Messi and Suarez this season, but that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
The attackers are two of the most dangerous forwards in soccer and two players who know each other like the back of their hands after forming one of the best attacks in the history of the sport at FC Barcelona.
Which is why Messi and Suarez staying fit is so important for Inter Miami if they’re to go on and create history in MLS this season, with four major trophies on the line.
Expectations are at an all-time high for an MLS club, and Inter Miami and defender Alba will be praying their two star players can remain fit for the majority of the year.
