Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have both been spotted in Inter Miami training this morning ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Nashville.

The Argentine superstar was rested on Sunday in Inter Miami’s MLS fixture against CF Montreal, whilst Suarez was named on the bench and made a brief cameo for the Herons.

Heading into tomorrow’s CONCACAF Champions Cup tie against Nashville, some Inter Miami fans had wondered if Messi and Suarez would both be fit enough to play from the start in Florida.

And as per images from SportsCenter, the Inter Miami stars were both seen attending training this morning, strongly suggesting that Messi and Suarez will start tomorrow against Nashville.

Messi and Suarez’s fitness concerns have been well-reported on already this season, especially the Uruguay international, who Inter Miami Managing Owner Jorge Mas lauded as ‘world-class’.

Indeed, the duo playing tomorrow straight from the off will be huge for the Herons in their quest to qualify for the next round of the Champions Cup, a competition Inter Miami are set on winning.

And the decision to rest Messi and Suarez on Sunday seems to have been the right call from Tata Martino, with Sergio Busquets also starting the game against Montreal on the bench.

Tomorrow night could already be considered the biggest game of the season for Inter Miami, with continental success a clear priority for Martino and his team.

And with Messi and Suarez in training this morning, there’s a real chance that the pair will be named in the starting XI against Nashville, a prospect that could inject fear into the MLS side’s squad.

With the series tied at 2-2, a win tomorrow will be enough to send Inter Miami into the next round of the Champions Cup, and Messi and Suarez coming away with the game unscathed would be another huge result.
