Inter Miami are continuing their growth on and off the field as the franchise looks to make their mark in the MLS.
Despite being one of the newest teams in the league, Inter Miami has been able to punch well above their weight for some time.
The eye-catching signing of the 2024 MLS MVP Lionel Messi signalled that the club under the co-ownership of David Beckham meant business.
While the presence of Messi has added a lot to the MLS it wasn’t enough to make Inter Miami the most valuable MLS franchise for 2025.

Javier Mascherano has come in as Inter Miami manager and has not been afraid to spend some money on some quality stars.
Inter Miami signed Telasco Segovia and has also purchased the likes of Gonzalo Lujan and Maxi Falcon.
While the club are not afraid to spend money, especially on wages on some of their best talents including Messi and Luis Suarez they are one of the most valuable teams in the MLS.
According to Sportico Inter Miami the second most valuable MLS team and is valued at $1.19billion, an increase of 17% in a year.
The Herons were pipped to the top spot by LAFC however who are valued at $1.28 billion but did rise from third in the rankings following the drop of Atlanta United.

Neymar signing could have secured top spot
Mascherano has praised the impact Messi has had on the MLS and his signing has no doubt seen the club’s value increase no end.
Sitting in second place is nothing to be sad about but if the club had secured Neymar’s signing they would likely have earned top spot.
Inter Miami were dealt a major Neymar blow with the star almost certainly heading back to Santos.
Given his star presence, and pairing up with Messi and Suarez once more, it could have seen LAFC put under pressure in the top spot.
