Lionel Messi has stated his desire to win more silverware with Inter Miami in 2024 in what will be his first full season in MLS.
Speaking to the press via BBC Sport, the 36-year-old attacker revealed his intention to lead the Herons to more glory next year, with Inter Miami winning the Leagues Cup this season.
With the CONCACAF Champions League coming to DRV PNK Stadium next year, Messi has the chance to lead Inter Miami to unparalleled success both on the continent and in MLS.

And Messi is seemingly keen to keep the good times rolling at Inter Miami, with the forward eager to continue at the Florida franchise.
Messi said: “We are going to continue enjoying and winning titles. I hope you accompany us as you accompanied us all these months that I’ve been here.
“I had no doubt that we were going to have a good time, that we were going to enjoy it. Today I have no doubt, as I didn’t at the beginning, and much less now, that next year is going to be a lot better.”
Messi can lead Inter Miami to MLS history next year

Messi returning next year and fully fit with a completed pre-season behind his belt could be massive for Inter Miami heading into the new season.
And history could be made in MLS if the Herons are to compete for every trophy available, with MLS Cup and the Champions League the biggest honors on the table.
Messi’s competitive nature means that there’s a good chance that Tata Martino’s side will win at least one of them, yet fans will be hoping for a historic clean sweep.
