Lionel Messi’s sons have become mini-celebrities in their own right since moving to Florida, with Mateo Messi stealing the show at Inter Miami.
The middle child of the Messi family went viral last season after a clip was shared by Messi World on Twitter of Mateo tackling his brothers post-match after an Inter Miami fixture.
With Mateo and his older brother Thiago both in the Inter Miami academy, there could soon be a day when a second Messi graces the pitch for the Herons in MLS.

And in a video posted by PSG Chief on Twitter, Mateo could be in contention for a spot in the future, with Messi’s son scoring a goal that the great Argentine would be proud of.
Indeed, we’re now reaching a stage in football where greats of the games are seeing their children thrive at the highest level, namely Marcus Thuram and Erling Haaland.
And with Mateo now coming through at Inter Miami, we could see the famous name once again light up the soccer pitch if the tough-tackling Messi commits to the beautiful game.
Mateo Messi one day playing for Inter Miami would be a dream

With Messi now having two of his kids in the Inter Miami academy, the dream of one of Thiago or Mateo breaking into the Herons’ first-team is the stuff dreams are made of.
And with the Argentine superstar seemingly planning on staying around in Florida even after playing, there’s a real chance that another Messi could play for Inter Miami in the future.
With Mateo already scoring wonder goals for the academy, it might not be long before Messi’s son is making even more headlines around the world for his incredible feats.
