Inter Miami are the superstar team in MLS from Lionel Messi on the pitch to co-owner David Beckham off it.
The soccer legend is regarded by many as one of the most influential figures in the sport in America, with Beckham putting MLS on the map in 2007 after his surprise move to the LA Galaxy followed by his involvement in the founding of Inter Miami in 2018.
Because of Beckham, Inter Miami were able to sign the likes of Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets, with the Florida franchise this season at the top of the Supporters’ Shield standings and on pace to break the MLS regular season points record with four games to go.
And defender Marcelo Weigandt has shared just how crazy it is to see Beckham at the club.

Weigandt still in awe by seeing Beckham at Inter Miami training
Speaking to the press, the on-loan Boca Junior defender showered Beckham with praise with Weigandt stating how incredible it is to see such a huge legend in the game regularly show up in training, along with Inter Miami’s other superstar players.
With Messi, Suarez and Busquets already with the Herons along with Jordi Alba, Julian Gressel and Diego Gomez, the amount of stars Inter Miami have is truly incredible, and Beckham is arguably one of the biggest of them all despite no longer being a player.
Weigandt said: “It’s extraordinary that he [Beckham] comes to training and watches us. Imagine, we have David Beckham outside watching the training sessions and the matches, and on the pitch we have Messi, Suarez, Busquets, Jordi, it’s crazy what I get to experience.
“I try to enjoy it as much as possible, as I said. I’m at a great club. It makes you want to come every day. We have the best in the world on our side, Suarez, Jordi and Busquets, who make everything easier. Playing alongside these beasts makes you better.”

Beckham can bring even more superstar names to Florida in the future
Inter Miami have firmly established themselves as the MLS side everyone wants to play for since the arrival of Messi, with players seemingly taking pay-cuts just to have a chance to train and play alongside the Argentine superstar.
And with Beckham more involved with Inter Miami than ever before, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid winger can use his influence to help bring over even more superstar names to Florida in the future.
As we know, Messi, Suarez and Busquets might only have a few more years left in them before they hang up their boots, and planning for the future will be huge for Inter Miami in their bid to create a dynasty.
