Lionel Messi is arguably the greatest soccer player of all time, and Mohamed Salah is now seemingly keen to play alongside the Inter Miami star.
The Liverpool winger is in his own right one of the best currently playing the game, with a good argument to be made that Salah is the best player to emerge from Africa as well as the Arabic world.
And speaking to Sky Sports this weekend, the Egyptian international named Messi as one of three players Salah would love to play with, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Kevin De Bruyne.

Salah said when asked which three players he would love to have one day as teammates: “I’d like to play with Messi or Ronaldo, of course.”
With the forward linked with a move away from Liverpool next summer, Salah making his dream come true with Messi could be an option for 2024.
However, with Saudi Arabia firmly in the lead to land the winger, Salah linking up with Messi might have to be saved for another day far away in the future.
Mohamed Salah and Lionel Messi would be outstanding together

Every player in the world seems to want to play with Messi, and who can really blame them given everything the Argentine has accomplished in his career?
And Salah could have been a sensation alongside Messi, with the Liverpool winger one of the best wide attackers in the game having exploded onto the scene under Jurgen Klopp.
Whilst the Middle East is calling for Salah, a move to MLS would have been entertaining, especially if Inter Miami won the race to sign the Egyptian international.
Indeed, Messi and Salah could have taken on the world together, and the attackers could have been unstoppable in a league like MLS.
