Inter Miami’s preseason matches keep growing.
After a disappointing end to the 2023 season, the Herons are ensuring that 2024 will be the best year in team history.
Although the club managed to win the Leagues Cup title in the summer, that positive momentum seen throughout the tournament fizzled by the latter half of 2023. Injuries, national team call-ups, and fatigue played a big role in why the Herons missed out on the postseason.
Inter Miami adds another stop

Next year, Inter Miami is doing things differently.
The organization has already announced a preseason tour that will take them to at least three countries: El Salvador on January 19th, Saudi Arabia on January 29th and February 1st, and Hong Kong on the 4th.
The team’s latest game announcement has them staying in Asia.
After signing Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba in the summer, Miami skyrocketed to the upper echelon of world football, launching the club into icon status.
Naturally, the exposure that comes with signing some of the best players in the world means global commitments.
On December 15th, Inter Miami announced that they’ve added another stop on its 2024 preseason tour.
The South Florida club will fly to Japan to take on Andrés Iniesta’s old side, Vissel Kobe. Although Iniesta recently left the Japanese giants in mid-2023, that won’t stop Miami’s Barcelona trio from feeling a connection.

This will be the fifth match in Inter Miami’s 2024 preseason schedule.
Many fans are worried that the physical load will be too much for the Fort Lauderdale-based side. However, manager Tata Martino will likely rotate the squad before each match.
Furthermore, with Miami participating in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, they’ll need to be physically ready by mid-February to take on the grueling schedule.
Ultimately, the Herons will have a busy preseason. With Messi, Busquets, Alba, and soon-to-be Luis Suárez on the squad, Miami will have a stacked team that will be ready to challenge for more silverware.
