Tata Martino has claimed that he isn’t surprised by Facundo Farias’ fast start to life with Inter Miami.
Speaking to MLS’ official website, the Argentine manager revealed that he expected the summer signing from Colon to impress as well as he has since landing in Miami.
Farias joined as a U-22 signing with the attacker bagging two goals in his first four games for Inter Miami, with the youngster scoring in last night’s 3-2 win against Sporting Kansas City.

The 21-year-old already looks like a steal of a signing and a player who could shine for Inter Miami for years to come, with a move to Europe also in the pipeline for Farias.
And Martino is not surprised at all by how the attacker has started life in MLS, with the Inter Miami manager a massive fan of his new attacking superstar.
Martino said: “If I told you I was surprised, it wouldn’t be fair. The truth is I expect this of Facundo because he’s done it in Argentine football… the truth is he’s performing just how we expected him to.”
Farias could be Inter Miami’s next attacking superstar

Inter Miami’s summer business has been nothing short of specular, and whilst Lionel Messi has taken most of the headlines, Farias has quietly emerged as one of the club’s most exciting new arrivals.
The 21-year-old, in any other window, would be hailed as a superstar in the making and one of the most exciting players in all of MLS.
And with Farias quietly doing his thing in the background with Messi stealing the spotlight, the attacker is slowly building up to becoming Inter Miami’s next forward superstar.
