Tomas Aviles has expressed his excitement over signing for Inter Miami, with the Herons confirming the transfer last night.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the Argentine youth international revealed how happy he is to sign for Inter Miami, with Aviles expected to be in placed in the starting XI sooner rather than later.
The centre-back, who joins as part of MLS’ U-22 initiative, is regarded as one of the most exciting defensive talents in South America, with Aviles a regular with Argentina giants Racing Club before making the move to Florida.
As well as signing superstar names such as Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and now Jordi Alba, Tata Martini’s front office have also made it their goal to add exciting young talents to the roster, with Aviles arguably the pick of the bunch.
Inter Miami’s defensive record is one of the worst in MLS, and signing a wonderkid centre-back in Aviles could solve a lot of issues for the Herons heading into the second half of the season, with the youngster ready to get started.

The defender is already regarded as one of the most exciting prospects coming out of Argentina, and in a squad featuring the likes of Messi and Busquets, Aviles could unlock his true potential in a spectacular way.
