Inter Miami will end the season in style.

According to a report from the Miami Herald, Inter Miami’s season finale against Charlotte FC will be played in front of a sold-out crowd.

The Herald claims that up to 60,000 tickets have sold, with that number potentially rising to 70,000. With the game set to kick off at 6:00 PM EST, it could be a must-watch match for neutral viewers.

In addition to the crowd size, Inter Miami assistant manager Javier Morales assured the press that Messi has traveled with the team and intends to play: “We know what he signifies for the sport, having him on our team, available to play and compete is always good. We are very happy that he is back at 100 percent.”

Miami’s even posted on X confirming that the Argentine has traveled with the squad.

Although the Herons failed to make the post-season, the South Florida club will want to end the year on a positive note. With Charlotte still in the hunt to make the playoffs, Miami could play spoiler to their Eastern Conference rival’s season.

If Inter Miami’s Wednesday night draw against Charlotte is any indication, then the Herons will look competitive on Saturday.

The season ended on a poor note for Miami, as they just missed out on playing for MLS Cup. But Tata Martino will use this last match as a tester for 2024.

There’s perhaps no better time for Inter Miami to work on tactics, and put on a show, than in front of a crowd of 65,000+ people.

As the team looks towards 2024, the hope and excitement of winning more silverware builds. Saturday afternoon’s match will be the first step into a new era for the team.
