Inter Miami endured a nightmarish outing against New York Red Bulls on Saturday – and Sergio Busquets certainly did not seem to enjoy himself.
The Spaniard could be seen becoming quite frustrated just minutes into the 4-0 defeat after Lewis Morgan slotted beyond CJ dos Santos to give New York Red Bulls an early lead, with Lawson Sunderland seemingly on the end of the midfield maestro’s anger.

Well, after Morgan slotted home within just three minutes, the Inter Miami No.5 was seen having a bit of a moan at Sunderland for his involvement in the goal.
Dante Vanzier found it all too easy to slot his teammate in, taking out several Inter Miami players with one pass to notch an assist for the Scotland international.
Busquets then put his arms out as he appeared to question the 22-year-old Sunderland, a moment that was also spotted by the Mirror.
In truth, the 35-year-old was also to blame for that significant hole opening up in the Inter Miami midfield.
A player with the experience of Busquets should have been able to see that a huge space had opened up behind him, and a small movement back could have potentially prevented Morgan from scoring.
Inter Miami No.5 can hold his head up
While Busquets could have done better for Morgan’s opening goal, he can still hold his head up high despite the 4-0 defeat, as statistics show he was Inter Miami’s best performer, by far.
The man from Sabadell received a 7.3 match rating on SofaScore for his efforts on Saturday.
Aside from Luis Suarez – who earned a 7.2 – no other Inter Miami player even got themselves above a 7.0 rating.
SofaScore also show that Busquets completed 93 passes and had a whopping 123 touches of the ball, as he continuously tried to make things happen for Inter Miami.
The former Spain international also won six out of seven ground duels and five out of eight aerial duels.
It was a mature performance from Busquets, although he will undoubtedly be disappointed by the amount of space Morgan found behind Inter Miami’s midfield for that opening goal.
