Inter Miami have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Julian Gressel after the winger’s release from the Columbus Crew.
The versatile 30-year-old has been one of the standout performers in America for the past few years, with Gressel a two-time MLS Cup champion, including with last year’s winners the Columbus Crew.
A former Atlanta United star under Tata Martino, Gressel’s resume in MLS is one of the most impressive, with the Germany-born wide-player established as both a creative winger and a fullback.

And now, according to the Athletic’s Tom Bogert, Inter Miami have reached an agreement to sign Gressel, a deal that could be one of the best the Herons make all winter.
Indeed, MLS’ official website once hailed Gressel as an ‘elite’ player, and the forward could be an outstanding addition to Inter Miami’s squad for the 2024 season.
Able to play at right-back, central midfield and right-wing, Gressel’s versatiltiy could make the German one of the best players in the Inter Miami squad for the upcoming year.
Inter Miami have played a blinder in signing Julian Gressel

Heading into the off-season, Gressel quickly established himself as a free-agent that almost every MLS side wanted to add to their roster this winter.
And Inter Miami winning the race for the 30-year-old is nothing short of impressive, with the Herons adding a bonafide MLS superstar to their ranks.
Whilst Luis Suarez remains the standout signing this winter, Gressel could prove to be an even more important addition to Inter Miami’s ranks this month.
And given how versatile the German is, Lionel Messi and company can get a lot of mileage out of Gressel for next season, which is now set to become an exciting one for Inter Miami.
