Inter Miami have reportedly launched a $12m offer to sign Boca Juniors youngster and Argentina international Cristian Medina.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been a regular for the South American giants for the past three years, with Medina establishing himself as one of the most exciting talents in all of Argentina.
Lauded by Boca Juniors scout Diego Mazzilli as a ‘very intelligent’ player, Medina has already been named in Argentina’s senior squad and has trained alongside the likes of Lionel Messi.
And according to journalist Michael Rincon, Inter Miami have now made a bid to sign Medina, with the Herons keen to add the midfielder to their ranks.
A deal that could be one of the best Inter Miami pull off this January, the defensive-minded midfielder could be tempted to link up with the likes of Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets in Florida.
And with Inter Miami now making the first move to bring Medina to the United States, things could start moving quickly for the Herons, who could be about to bring in an outstanding prospect.
