Inter Miami have been very active in the January transfer window, with Javier Mascherano’s new signings coming along nicely.
The Herons last week announced the signing of Telasco Segovia as Inter Miami also recruited Rocco Rios Novo on loan from Lanus, bringing up the total number of new additions to five with the new MLS season under a month away from starting.
Although Inter Miami will miss out on Neymar, the work the Florida franchise have put in during this off-season in improving the squad has been impressive, with the Herons only a few players away from having a dream squad for the 2025 campaign.
With Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets still on Inter Miami’s books, next season is shaping up to be a big one for the Herons, and another new signing could now be close to being completed.

Inter Miami ready to announce Baltasar Rodriguez signing
According to Strikers, Inter Miami have reached a ‘complete agreement’ with Racing Club over the signing of 21-year-old Argentine youth international Baltasar Rodriguez, with the deal set to be announced in the coming days.
Inter Miami’s sale of Facundo Farias’ was initially holding up the deal to sign Rodriguez. However, with the 22-year-old attacker now close to leaving Chase Stadium for a return to Argentina, the Herons are now in the clear to bring in a replacement.
And that player seems to be Rodriguez, with the attacking midfielder set to become Inter Miami’s sixth signing of the January transfer window ahead of the next chunk of pre-season games taking part in Central and South America.
Indeed, Inter Miami landing Rodriguez will come across as a big coupe for the MLS franchise, and the Argentine youngster might not even be the last player the Florida giants end up signing before the closure of the transfer window.
Who else are Inter Miami close to signing?
Inter Miami fans would argue that going into this transfer window that every position needed to be strengthened in some way or another, with Mascherano and his transfer team doing just that in fine form in the market.
And more signings appear to be en-route following the acquisition of Rodriguez, with Inter Miami also reaching an agreement for Maximiliano Falcon having finally struck a deal with Colo-Colo for the Uruguayan defender.
With more time left in the window for more deals, Rodriguez and Falcon might not be the last deals Inter Miami conclude before the market closes, with more work still to be done that could help improve the squad.
