Lionel Messi is reportedly pushing Luka Modric to join Inter Miami personally, with the Real Madrid star receiving offers from MLS clubs.
According to former Madrid forward Pedja Mijatovic via Cadena SER, the Argentine forward is eager to bring the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner to Florida next year.
Mijatovic said: “He has received offers from the United States, from many teams and from this one in particular. He already had the one in Saudi Arabia but he wanted to stay in Madrid.

“Messi himself has personally been interested in the possibility. In Croatia, a few days ago, Modric met Beckham, where they were eating.”
With Inter Miami now arguably the most attractive club outside of Europe, Messi pushing Modric to move to the Herons could be a possibility next year.
And given just how good Modric still is despite turning 38 last month, the Croatian superstar could be an exceptional signing for Inter Miami, especially alongside Sergio Busquets in midfield.
Inter Miami have to do all they can to sign Modric

Modric is a player who, on his own, could be the poster boy for an MLS franchise, yet for Inter Miami, the midfielder would be another superstar in a well-oiled machine.
As a result, the Herons must do all they can to bring the veteran to Florida, who could be another world-class addition to Tata Martino’s side.
And Modric himself could be keen on a move to Inter Miami, with the prospect of playing alongside Messi and Busquets something that could tempt the Croat at this stage in his career.
