Inter Miami are reportedly interested in signing Neymar, with the Brazil international seemingly set for a move to MLS.

Al-Hilal are open to letting Neymar leave in 2025 with the former FC Barcelona superstar recently purchasing a $26m property in Florida, intensifying rumors over a possible move to Inter Miami next year and reuniting with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

With the Herons also competing in the FIFA Club World Cup, the legendary MSN trio competing against the best teams in the world would be quite the advert for the reigning Supporters’ Shield holders and MLS, especially with Neymar open to joining Inter Miami.

Yet the Florida franchise could now have a big problem on their hands in regards to signing Neymar.

Neymar leaning towards Santos return over Inter Miami transfer

According to UOL, Santos have now emerged as the most likely destination for Neymar, with the Brazilian club working hard to do all they can to bring their former superstar back to Sao Paulo.

As per the report, the iconic South American team that produced both Neymar and Pele are throwing everything possible behind re-signing the Al-Hilal forward, who is open to returning back to Brazil with Santos.

With Inter Miami needing to buy out one of their three Designated Player contracts, Santos are now free to pitch to Neymar as much as they want in their bid to bring the Brazil superstar back home for 2025.

Indeed, Neymar returning to Santos would be poetic after the winger’s torrid time in Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal, yet Inter Miami will not want to go down without a fight, with this transfer simply too good to pass up on.

Neymar heading back to Brazil would be embarrassing for MLS

Even after a year out injured, Neymar is still considered one of the best attackers in world soccer, with the winger more than capable of performing at a high level for one of the biggest teams on the planet.

And Neymar swapping Saudi Arabia for a return to Brazil will make Inter Miami and MLS look embarrassing, with the Herons having the power to bring the forward to Florida if they are determined enough.

Reuniting Neymar with Messi and Suarez would be a dream for Inter Miami, and time is now quickly running out if the Herons are to achieve this dream next year.
