Inter Miami added yet another win to their incredible record this season, with Luis Suarez scoring two goals against the Chicago Fire.

Suarez built from his record-breaking performance against FC Cincinnati last weekend to help Inter Miami to a 4-1 win against the Chicago Fire a Soldier Field, with Rober Taylor also on the scoresheet.

With Tata Martino impressed with Suarez’s all-round game on the night, the 37-year-old striker is firmly establishing himself as the in-form striker in MLS heading into the final games of the regular season and the play-offs.

And teammate Julian Gressel has shared what Suarez does that is so different from anyone else.

Suarez praised for ‘incredible’ finishing for Inter Miami

Speaking to the press after last night’s win, the two-time MLS Cup champions lauded Suarez for his back-to-back two-goal games for Inter Miami, with Gressel noting how incredible the striker’s finishing is.

With 20 goals in all competition for the season now, Suarez is showing why he was worth the pursuit earlier this year, with the likes of Gressel now amazed by what they’ve seen from the legendary Uruguayan striker.

Gressel said when asked about Suarez’s performance and what he means for Inter Miami this season: “He means so much in the stuff he creates for us, and obviously, the stuff he puts away for us is incredible.

“Tonight, he scored two goals again, the same in the last game as well. There’s certainly a different quality when he’s on like that, and it makes a big difference when you have game-changers like him.”

Suarez is hitting peak form at the right time this season

Suarez was always going to be a success in MLS despite some more than dubious predictions at the start of the season, and the former FC Barcelona stat is hitting his best form at the right time this year.

Leading Inter Miami’s goalscoring charts and closing in on the all-time franchise record held by Gonzalo Higuain, Suarez is proving why he is still one of the best strikers in world football and a true force of nature with the Herons.

And heading into the play-offs, Suarez has never looked as good in Inter Miami colors as he does now, with the attacker looking unstoppable in front of goal, even with Lionel Messi out injured.
