Inter Miami endured one of their most embarrassing results in some time after the Herons were beaten 6-0 in Saudi Arabia by Al-Nassr.
Even without Cristiano Ronaldo, the Riyadh-based side were humbled in astonishing fashion as a Talisca-inspired performance saw Inter Miami thrashed in the Middle East.
With the likes of Luis Suarez getting angry at Inter Miami’s players, it was a night to forget for the Herons, who now travel to Hong Kong for their pre-season friendly.

Yet as reported by the Athletic’s Michael Dominski, Inter Miami head coach Tata Martino was seen furiously arguing with the referee after full-time, with the Argentine manager mad over how much added time there was.
Indeed, Inter Miami’s pre-season schedule is one of the toughest any MLS side has had to endure, and extra minutes on the pitch could be the difference between fit players or injuries.
Dominski reported: “Tata Martino takes his place and starts complaining about the six minutes of stoppage time. Did he want more time? Less? Who can say? That’s really not the six he needs to be worried about.”
Inter Miami learnt some big lessons against Al-Nassr

Inter Miami were confident heading into today’s match having narrowly lost to Al-Hilal earlier this week, with Al-Nassr missing the likes of Ronaldo and Sadio Mane.
Yet the Herons were well and truly beaten in Saudi Arabia, and Inter Miami will take some key lessons from this defeat heading into the new MLS season.
Whilst Martino had every right to be mad with the amount of time that was added in the second-half, the South American coach has bigger issues on his plate right now.
And Inter Miami need to take the right lessons from this fixture heading into Hong Kong, where the Florida franchise will be hopeful of getting their first win in pre-season.
