Luis Suarez signed for Inter Miami at the start of this year, and it’s safe to say that the striker has been an immense hit in Florida.
The 37-year-old attacker has already managed 18 goals and eight assists in all competitions for Inter Miami, with Suarez’s fitness also proving to be better than many expected having arrived from Gremio with plenty of knee problems.
With Tata Martino and Drake Callender praising Suarez after his performance this weekend against FC Cincinnati, the former FC Barcelona superstar is riding high with his good form, which has now booked Inter Miami’s spot in the MLS play-offs.
And pundit Bradley Wright-Phillips has now shared what has impressed him the most about Suarez.

Wright-Phillips impressed with Suarez’s new style at Inter Miami
Speaking on MLS Wrap-Up, the former New York Red Bulls forward hailed Suarez for how the attacker has adapted his style to fit Inter Miami’s need when leading the front-line.
With 18 goals in all competitions, Suarez has more than met expectations for what the Herons wanted from the striker, and Wright-Phillips has been impressed with how the veteran goalscorer has managed to change his game to suit MLS.
Wright-Phillips said when talking about Suarez’s form and the striker’s overall performance in MLS since moving to Inter Miami: “I think what impresses me is that before he came we thought he had slowed down and he wasn’t going to be as effective.
“But it just shows you that he’s more experienced and more smart, he doesn’t do as much running, but he knows where to be in the box, and when he gets the opportunity, he’s clinical. Against Cincinnati was an example.”

Suarez’s form will be key to MLS Cup and Supporters’ Shield success
Inter Miami are leading the charge in the Supporters’ Shield title race and have booked their spot in the MLS play-offs, with Suarez’s form key to both successes.
And heading into the final months of the MLS season, Suarez’s performances for Inter Miami will be key in the Florida franchise going all the way for both titles.
Indeed, Suarez has taken his game to a new level with Lionel Messi out injured, and the attacker will want to end the season on a high if possible for Inter Miami.
