Welcome to 2024, Inter Miami!
The Heron’s off season kicked off in late October and the Herons have been sitting at home since. After failing to make the playoffs due to international call ups, injuries, and fatigue, the organization made it their goal to improve the roster.
“We’re evaluating every department in our front office and performance staff, to support [Tata Martino] and his staff and all the players to make sure we’re performing everywhere in the club,” Club CSO Chris Henderson said in his end-of-year conference.
“We’re looking at everything to [improve the squad.] We have high hopes for 2024, and we want to show what we can do as a club,” he continued.
“Winning trophies and having high ambition is something we’ve had since day one.”
Former Manchester United player rebuffs calls from Messi

To fix the issues that plagued them in 2023, Inter Miami has made it a point to revamp the roster.
Already, the men in pink announce the signing of striker Luis Suarez and are in pole position to land free agent wing back Julian Gressel.
Furthermore, a full offseason of rest for Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba will help the aging trio get fit for the upcoming year.
Though the squad additions and rest will help, Inter Miami still needs help on the defensive end.
Unfortunately, one transfer target of Miami’s has taken himself out of the race.

According to Argentine outlet La Nacion, Marcos Rojo has rejected a potential move to Inter Miami, thus ending talks to reunite himself with Messi.
In an Instagram post via TYC Sports, the ex-Man United defender brushed off reports that he could leave Boca Juniors and reiterated his commitment to the Argentine giants.
“One more year together and may 2024 be much better for all of us,” Rojo said.
With preseason set to kick off on January 10th, Inter Miami must be diligent and bring in another commanding center half.
