Federico Redondo has described what Lionel Messi is really like since the midfielder’s move to Inter Miami.
The 21-year-old Argentine youth international joined the Herons last month in a blockbuster deal from Argentinos Juniors, with Inter Miami beating some big teams to sign Redondo.
The midfielder arrives with a massive reputation from South America and plenty of promise, with Redondo viewed by many as one of the best young prospects Argentina have produced in recent years.
Federico Redondo praises ‘simple’ Lionel Messi attitude

And speaking to Infobae about his move to Inter Miami, Redondo was asked about what he has noticed about training with Messi, with the midfielder highlighting how normal the superstar attacker really is.
Indeed, Messi’s reputation off the pitch is well-known as a down-to-earth guy who wants to viewed like an everyday person, despite the 36-year-old being considered arguably the greatest soccer player of all-time.
Indeed, this attitude off the pitch has worked wonders for Messi, and Redondo has now backed claims that the forward likes to keep things simple and easy off the pitch at Inter Miami.
Redondo said when asked what he’s noticed about Messi since joining Inter Miami: “I think that Leo, despite the great player he is, is also very simple, it is something that I admire a lot.”
Inter Miami can build a winning culture off the pitch with new signing

Messi’s personality on and off the pitch is a key factor behind the Argentine’s undisrupted success in soccer, and spreading this mindset and bedding in a culture can help Inter Miami win trophies.
With Redondo a player with a similar frame of mind to Messi, the new signing from Argentina can play an integral role in helping the Herons become the most dominant team in all of North America.
And with the CONCACAF Champions Cup starting tonight for Inter Miami, today is as good a day as any to finally get that journey started against MLS rivals Nashville.
