Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium will host Messi and Argentina in the Copa América group stage.

Before the draw, set to take place on December 7th, CONMEBOL announced the 10 regions that will host games throughout the tournament.

According to the Miami Herald, Miami Garden’s Hard Rock Stadium was selected to host select group games and the final, which is set to take place on July 14th.

Argentina will head into the tournament as current champions. La Albiceleste won its 15th title in 2021, beating Brazil in the final.

The Copa América hosted in America couldn’t have come at a better time.

With Messi signing to Inter Miami in the summer, and Major League Soccer on the rise, having the final hosted in South Florida is fitting.

As Inter Miami and Messi get ready for a packed 2024, the Copa América will be one of the many competitions the Argentine will play in for both club and country.

Inter Miami and Messi will have a busy 2024.

From the CONCACAF Champions Cup to the Copa América, the Argentine will be active.

The Herons are looking to add more silverware to its trophy cabinet as well. After winning the Leagues Cup this summer, the South Florida-based team wants to continue that success.

Conversely, with Argentina, Messi wants to win another Copa América with his country before he gets older.

In a conversation with Disney+ for the documentary, Champions, a year later, Messi spoke about his eagerness to win the tournament again: “Today the only thing I think about is getting to the Copa América well and being able to compete in it, fighting it again like we always did, trying to be champions.”

Messi has already completed football.

There’s an argument to be made that he doesn’t need to win anything else to prove his worth. However, the Argentine is a competitor and wants to be the best.

In 2024, Messi will have even more opportunities to add to his legacy.
