Inter Miami has officially released its 2024 schedule.
On December 20th, Major League Soccer announced the schedule for all 29 teams in the league, with Miami the most highly anticipated of them all.
The Herons are looking forward to righting the wrongs of 2023. Although the men in pink won the Leagues Cup in August, the club ultimately fell short of the playoffs due to fatigue, international duty, and injuries.
As 2024 approaches, Miami wants to improve in all aspects. In his end-of-year conference with the media, Sporting Director Chris Henderson spoke about revamping the roster.
“We’re looking at everything to [improve the squad.] We have high hopes for 2024, and we want to show what we can do as a club,” he said.
“Winning trophies and having high ambition is something we’ve had since day one.”
Achieving more silverware will be Miami’s main goal next season, however, the South Florida side may have to do it without Lionel Messi.

Inter Miami fans worried about the Copa America
Many Inter Miami fans are worried about Messi’s Copa América schedule conflicting with his MLS duties.
“Ridiculous, games during Copa America. Also- I’m praying the team is healthy by May. Crazy season,” one fan said on Reddit.
A second fan added: “For some dumb reason the MLS does not have international breaks like any other reputable league.”
The Copa America is set to be held in the United States from June 20th to July 14th. According to Miami’s schedule, the Argentine could miss around 15 matches for the pink and black.
“That’s 15 games, almost half the season. That’s a little absurd,” another fan said of the schedule conflict.
Ultimately, Miami will have to find a way to work around Messi’s absence. There are several youngsters on the roster who could step up when the World Cup winner is gone.
It remains to be seen if MLS will pause for the tournament.
