Javier Mascherano has added yet another new face to his Inter Miami squad, however, it will not come as a surprise.
The Herons have now announced the signing of former Colo-Colo defender Maximiliano Falcon, who has a contract through the 2028 MLS season.
Falcon demanded that his former club sell him to Inter Miami and now his wish has been granted.

Herons fans react to Falcon announcement
The 27-year-old defender will look to bring a vast amount of experience to an Inter Miami defence that leaked goals last season.
Nicolas Freire’s departure left the Herons with a vast gap in defence and fans have been screaming out for a new addition.
Responding to the club’s announcement of Falcon’s signing, fans could not hide their excitement for the star.
One fan said: “Finally official, took a while! Felt like one of those downloads that got stuck at 99% haha.”
Another commented: “Finally signed a defender,” while one simply said: “I hope he’s a good defender.”
One fan joked: “There are a lot of Colo Colo fans crying. He must be good.”
He clearly is a strong signing with one Colo-Colo fan saying: “It’s a very great player, be happy peluca, I will miss you.”
While Falcon has been welcomed with open arms to Inter Miami a former Colo-Colo legend Leonardo Veliz was angered by Falcon’s exit calling him a ‘crying idiot.’

Falcon’s first Inter Miami words
Falcon will be hoping to get some game time in Inter Miami’s remaining pre-season fixtures and the star has already set himself a major goal with the team.
Following his Inter Miami announcement he told the club’s media: “I’m thrilled to join such an important club like Inter Miami for this first chapter of my career playing outside of South America.
“My goal is to give my all to help the Club and my new teammates succeed and win titles.”
Falcon could prove vital in Inter Miami’s opening MLS game against New York City FC.
