Inter Miami’s roster rebuild continues.
After failing to make the playoffs in 2023, the Fort Lauderdale-based team needed a roster revamp if they wanted to challenge for more silverware.
Over the 2024 offseason, the men in pink were able to add Luis Suarez, Julian Gressel, and Nicolas Freire.
The club is also reportedly in talks with a midfielder Federico Redondo about a potential move to the US. However, despite all the talk about incoming transfers, Miami still needs to sell players before they can add to the squad.
On January 31st, the club announced the transfer of Nicolas Stefanelli to Hungarian club Fehérvár FC.
Stefanelli signed with the club in early 2023, hoping to fill the void left by Alejandro Pozuelo.
Nicolas Stefanelli leaves the team

“Nicolás has been a class act since his arrival last year. He was key to the team’s U.S. Open Cup run and has been a great teammate on and off the pitch,” said Sporting Director Chris Henderson in a press release.
“We wish him well in this next step in his career.”
Through 17 games in 2023, Stefanelli scored twice. His spell was disappointing, but with his transfer, Miami will be able to gain extra allocation money to add to their squad.
With the 2024 season inching closer, expect the Herons to continue to add and remove players from their roster before their February 21st clash with Real Salt Lake.
