Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami jersey could look different next season.
The Argentine made his debut for Inter Miami on July 21st to a raucous sea of fans at DRV PNK Stadium.
Not only did the World Cup winner give supporters a victory, but he did it in style, scoring a last-minute free kick to carry the Herons past Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup.
This led to his jersey becoming one of the top-selling kits in all of North America according to the New York Times.
Furthermore, Miami’s pink threads have also become a fashion statement, being listed on Vogue’s top 15 fashion items of 2023.
As next season rolls around, many are curious as to what Inter Miami’s kits will look like.
Inter Miami, Lionel Messi to wear new kits

Inter Miami has always had a complicated issue with its jerseys.
When the team debuted in 2020, they came out onto the field wearing white kits with pale pink trim much to the chagrin of supporters.
In 2022, the Herons finally introduced its all-pink home jersey that would become the first Inter Miami kit Messi would wear. Next season, the Herons will have another new home jersey, which will be a deeper pink with all the logos centered in through the middle.
Although some Miami fans may not be fans of the look, the new color will be a complete 180 compared to the jersey seen in 2020.
Fortunately, for supporters who aren’t fans of the new home jersey, according to Footy Headlines, the Herons will be releasing a third kit alongside several other Major League Soccer clubs.

Footy Headlines states that Miami will release a Miami Dolphins-inspired third kit during the 2024 season.
“Since Messi’s move to Inter Miami, [MLS] has become more popular, attracting more attention and followers,” the article said.
“We already have information on the Inter Miami 2024 third kit (inspired by the NFL team Miami Dolphins.”
Details are scarce, but as the 2024 season creeps closer, more information is expected to come out soon.
