With Halloween just around the corner, it’s only fitting that Inter Miami’s squad partake in the festive activities.
On October 29th, Inter Miami winger Robert Taylor showcased his Halloween spirit by dressing up as Lionel Messi’s bodyguard, Yassine Chueko.
Taylor captioned the photo, “Work never stops,” while tagging the bodyguard in the post.
Chueko has become a meme in footballing fan circles. His bald head, authoritative demeanor, and hawk-like surveillance over Messi have made him instantly recognizable on the sidelines during Inter Miami matches.
The bodyguard was hired by Miami in the summer, after a recommendation from club president David Beckham.
His main job is to protect Messi and his family wherever they go. After various mobbing incidents when the Argentine initially signed with the team, Chueko was subsequently brought to the club for protective purposes.
Inter Miami’s flashy winger

Robert Taylor made his name known to the world during Inter Miami’s 4-0 win over Atlanta United in the Leagues Cup.
Since then, the Finnish player’s profile has risen, appearing in numerous in-depth articles about his career and cementing a place in Tata Martino’s starting lineup.
Moreover, due to his uncanny ability to score incredible goals, Taylor developed a solid strike partnership with Messi. During this summer, Messi and Taylor combined for 17 G/A during the team’s run to the Leagues Cup title.
Unfortunately, the pair’s chemistry wasn’t enough to drag Miami to the playoffs, ending the season with a 1-0 loss away at Charlotte FC.
As the team shifts focus to 2024, expect Taylor to play a crucial role in the Heron attack. His technical ability and budding partnership with Messi will catapult the South Florida side into potential MLS Cup contenders.
Until then, Miami will look to revamp its roster over the off-season with the hope of winning more silverware.
