Inter Miami has its second confirmed friendly of the 2024 preseason.

On December 7th, the club released an announcement stating that they’ll travel to Hong Kong in early February to take on the Hong Kong All-Stars on the 4th, as well as hold an open training session for local fans the day before.

“We’re looking forward to this tour as a special experience for our Club, and also as an important opportunity to prepare the team as best as possible for the 2024 season,” club Sporting Director Chris Henderson said in the press release.

“This match will offer our players chances to face new opponents on the field and compete in new environments.”

Tickets for the game will go on sale on December 15th.

The 2024 season is a highly anticipated year for the Herons.

After failing to make the postseason in the latter half of 2023, the men in pink are anxious to get back on the pitch and make amends.

Preseason will give head coach Tata Martino the proper platform to implement his tactics and build team chemistry.

Furthermore, the imminent addition of striker Luis Suárez should give the Herons extra firepower in attack.

Understandably, Inter Miami is in ‘win, now’ mode. Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba will only be at the club for a few more years. As an organization, Miami must maximize the trio’s time with the team.

2024 will be the first year the Herons can truly challenge for MLS Cup. Even if they fail to make that milestone, there will be other trophies that the South Florida side could win.
