Parts of Inter Miami’s 2024 schedule have leaked online.
After a disappointing end of 2023, the Herons are heading into next season with a new sense of passion.
Though the South Florida club won its first title in club history in August, Miami failed to make the postseason.
According to Sporting Director Chris Henderson, Miami will fix the issues that plagued them in the latter half of 2023.
“We’re evaluating every department in our front office and performance staff, to support [Tata Martino] and his staff and all the players to make sure we’re performing everywhere in the club.”
Henderson continued: “We’re looking at everything to [improve the squad.] We have high hopes for 2024, and we want to show what we can do as a club.”
With Inter Miami amid a mini roster revamp, some potential opponents will relish playing a team trying to develop chemistry.
Inter Miami’s first opponent leaked
According to Sporting Kansas City fan on X, Inter Miami will take on the Kansas-based side on April 13th.
The MLS schedule for next season will be released on December 20th, but some fans have already discovered the dates of matches by accident.
Although none of Inter Miami’s games have leaked, there will still be plenty of action to witness from the Herons.
Just recently, Miami announced its sixth, and presumably final, pre-season game against Newell’s Old Boys.
Many fans do feel that six preseason games may be too many. But, with the CONCACAF Champions Cup set to kick off on March 7th, Miami needs to be in top physical shape. Additionally, the potential acquisitions of Luis Suarez and wing-back Julian Gressel will give Miami the extra quality they need to be successful.
As 2024 continues to inch closer, Inter Miami is ready to challenge for more silverware.
