The 21-year-old midfielder was officially announced as a new Inter Miami player on Friday having reportedly beaten the likes of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid to Redondo’s signature.

And speaking to reporters via the Miami Herald, Busquets has now publically stated his excitement regarding playing with Redondo, a player who has been likened to the former FC Barcelona star.
The Argentine youth international has all the tools to become a star at Inter Miami, and Busquets becoming a mentor to Redondo could be an excellent way to unlock the midfielder’s potential.
Busquets said when asked about Redondo and what the former Argentinos Juniors star can bring to Inter Miami this season: “Hopefully he can join us soon because he will help us a lot.
“He is a high-quality player who will give us that balance we need. He controls the ball well, he sees his teammates, has experience, and is coming off pre-Olympic tournament, so he will help us.”
