Lionel Messi is again showing why he’s the greatest of all time, this time with an Inter Miami fan.
In a viral clip going around on X, the Argentine is shown signing a shirt despite being in the middle of bottleneck Miami traffic.
Though this is a sweet moment, Messi’s bodyguard Yassine Chueko wouldn’t be too pleased with the interaction.
Chueko was hired in late 2023 when the World Cup winner joined the team. Since then, the guard has accompanied Messi to almost every public event.
Regardless of the security measures, what is clear is Miami’s ambitions for 2024.
Inter Miami’s 2024 plans
Inter Miami has big plans for the upcoming season.
Not only are they the favorite to win MLS Cup, but the organization is aiming to challenge for CONCACAF Champions Cup.
“We’re looking at everything to [improve the squad.] We have high hopes for 2024, and we want to show what we can do as a club,” Inter Miami CSO Chris Henderson stated.
“Winning trophies and having high ambition is something we’ve had since day one.”
There’s still plenty of time left before the season starts, and Miami is inching closer to its home opener against Real Salt Lake.
Though the game doesn’t kick off until a month from now, the excitement continues to build.
