Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar looks set to leave his club this summer, and he now has an offer from a MLS side.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who has claimed that the 31-year-old has offers from Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia as well as MLS, but it is unclear which club has made an offer him.

Inter Miami could be an obvious destination for a number of reasons. The presence of three of his former teammates in Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba makes the destination appealing to him, whilst he has also previously hinted about moving to Miami at some point in his career.

“I told him I will play there one day,” Neymar stated of David Beckham and Miami in 2020.

“I believe this is a great opportunity for the country to grow its soccer. As I said before, I already have my contract with David. A few years from now, I will be there.”

Romano has revealed that a MLS club has made an offer, indicating that his previous dream may be close to becoming reality.

Could Miami sign Neymar?

Given that Miami have spent a significant amount on their three current superstars, and all three designated spots are full, it would take some manoeuvring for the club to be able to make space for him.

The MLS transfer window closed over a week ago, meaning an immediate arrival would not be possible unless a free agent, but Miami may have made an offer for the Brazil attacker to join in January.

If he does join, it would further strengthen the Barcelona reunion which has also seen Luis Suarez linked to the club, but it remains to be seen whether Neymar would be keen on a move away from Europe if he has an offer there.

Any move for Neymar would take a long time to complete, but if he does arrive in Miami, Tata Martino’s side would be strengthening even further, and could fly up the table if Neymar can settle well alongside Messi.
