Inter Miami finally got their man.
On January 9th, the South Florida club officially announced the signing of two-time MLS Cup Champion, Julian Gressel.
Gressel, 30, joins the club just a few months after winning MLS Cup with the Columbus Crew,
Julian is an established player with a winning track record in the league who has proven himself at every stage during his MLS career,” said club CSO Chris Henderson.
“We are pleased to add him to our squad as his versatility and quality delivery will bolster Inter Miami as we look to build on the successes of last season in 2024.”
Gressel is an extremely versatile player who will help Miami in attack.

Furthermore, the German-American’s creativity and chance creation will aid in an already stacked Miami attack.
“I’m thrilled to be joining such an ambitious organization as Inter Miami for this new chapter in my career,” Gressel said.
“I’m ready to get to work and use my experience in this league to help my new teammates and this great Club achieve its dream of winning more titles.”
Inter Miami is having a world-class offseason. Already, they’ve signed the likes of Luis Suarez and are linked to two South American standouts, Cristian Medina and Victor Cuesta.
The Herons are moving quickly. Their first game of preseason kicks off in just nine days. Miami will take on the El Salvador National Team as they get fit for the 2024 season.

Though Gressel just joined the squad, many Miami fans are ready to see him take the field.
His mentorship with manager Tata Martino will make the transition into the squad seamless. Additionally, Gressel’s experience and championship quality will help make Miami a contender.
