Inter Miami reportedly view Philippe Coutinho as their next big signing, with the Brazilian international set to leave Aston Villa.
The former FC Barcelona superstar has this season endured a nightmare loan spell out in Qatar, with Coutinho set to return to Europe once Villa can arrange another move for the playmaker.
The 31-year-old’s form has dipped in the last 18 months and a move to MLS with Inter Miami has already been reported this month, with the LA Galaxy also interested in signing Coutinho.

Now, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Herons view Coutinho as a ‘dream signing’, with the Brazillian potentially the next big-name player on Inter Miami’s radar.
Having already signed Luis Suarez this January, adding another former Barcelona man would be on brand for Inter Miami, who now have four on their books heading into the new season.
And with Facundo Farias now out for the season, signing Coutinho on loan could be a smart option for Inter Miami, with the player himself likely to be open to a move to MLS.
Philippe Coutinho could be a good short-term option for Inter Miami

Coutinho might have been dismissed as an Inter Miami signing earlier in the window, but the season-long injury to Farias might have changed things completely for the Herons.
The Argentine youngster was tipped for a massive role under Tata Martino for next season, with Farias viewed as the creative attacker who will link Suarez and Lionel Messi in the forward line.
Yet with the 21-year-old out injured, Inter Miami need a plan B, and Coutinho could be just that for the Herons, especially with Villa eager to offload the former Liverpool and Inter Milan star.
