Premier League club now scouting 20-year-old Inter Miami star with ‘massive’ potential

Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly scouting Inter Miami midfielder and Paraguay international Diego Gomez.

The 20-year-old talent is regarded as one of the most exciting youngsters in all of MLS with Gomez featuring heavily for Inter Miami this season in the midfield as well as in the attack.

Recently lauded by Taylor Twellman as a player with ‘massive’ potential, Gomez’s future already looks set to be in Europe having impressed for club and country last year.

And according to OneFootball, Brighton are now scouting Gomez, with a number of European sides also keeping tabs on the Inter Miami star as we head into the summer transfer window.

With Federico Redondo and Benjamin Cremaschi two other Inter Miami talents who could be set for moves to Europe this summer, Gomez leaving first could open the floodgates for the Herons.

Indeed, Inter Miami’s current crop of youngsters are some of the most exciting in all of MLS, with Gomez one of the players who could go for a big fee in the summer.

And with a Premier League club in Brighton now interested in signing the Paraguay international, Gomez could be tempted to make the move later this year if an offer was to be made.

Gomez has featured in every game for Inter Miami this season, with the 20-year-old midfielder showing he clearly has the potential to one day thrive in Europe.

And with big teams already scouting the Paraguayan international, Gomez could be tempted to leave MLS this summer for a move to Europe, especially for a club like Brighton.

Offers are expected for Gomez in the coming weeks, and a move to one of the most exciting teams in the Premier League could be exactly what forces Inter Miami’s hand in selling the youngster.
