Luis Suarez has given his thoughts about joining Inter Miami after being heavily linked with a move to the MLS franchise.

The Uruguay international is due to become a free agent when the striker’s contract with Gremio expires at the end of this month, with Inter Miami Suarez’s most likely destination.

Reports have suggested that a one-year deal is close to being finalized between Suarez and Inter Miami, with a dream reunion with Lionel Messi close to coming to fruition.

The addition of Suarez could make Tata Martino’s side one of the most dangerous in MLS history, especially if Messi can get a grip on his fitness issues that plagued the forward at the end of last season.

Indeed, Inter Miami are now the hottest destination in America, and Suarez has strongly suggested that a move to Florida could soon be on the cards.

Speaking to TN, Suarez was asked if current rumors on a move to Inter Miami were actually true, with the attacker saying: “It may be a possibility. They have the best player in the world, a great friend.”

Whilst the MLS season has just ended this weekend with Columbus Crew being crowned champions, many Inter Miami fans would have expected a certain Uruguayan to sign for the club by now.

Suarez has been linked with a move to the Herons for what now feels like a lifetime, and the Florida franchise should have announced the forward’s signature some time ago.

With pre-season fixtures now being confirmed by Inter Miami, time is slowly running out for Inter Miami to announce Suarez as their latest superstar signing.
