Luis Suárez’s imminent transfer to Inter Miami is looking even more exciting.
The Uruguayan turned back time on November 9th, scoring a hattrick for his current club Gremio in an emphatic 4-3 victory over Botafogo.
Gremio was down 3-1 at one point in the match before Suárez showed his class.
The forward scored three times in the span of 19 minutes to give the Imortal Tricolor the victory. This form bodes well for his prospects at Inter Miami next season.
According to several reports, including an insinuation from Miami head coach Tata Martino, the ex-Liverpool star will reunite with Lionel Messi next year in South Florida.
Suárez has made it known that he and Messi would love to play one more time together before they retire.
With the 2024 Major League Soccer season around the corner, it appears that the duo will get their wish in the winter transfer window.
Luis Suárez’s potential impact at Inter Miami

There have been many concerns about Suárez’s knees, but he’s proving the doubters wrong.
The forward has been in excellent form for Gremio, racking up 14 goals and 10 assists through 28 matches this season.
Furthermore, when Suárez makes his way to Miami, he’ll get to partner with Messi once more.
Messi has had an incredible first season for Inter Miami. The Argentine tallied 14 G/A in all competitions this year. With Suárez on the field, expect the duo to elevate Miami’s attack to one of the best in the league.
Although age will be a concern for the Miami side, Messi and Suárez will have the help of young talents such as Facundo Farias, Diego Gomez, Benjamin Cremaschi, and more to do the running for them.
As the 2024 season approaches, Inter Miami fans should be hopeful for what’s to come. If Suárez brings his Gremio form to Fort Lauderdale, expect Miami to challenge for MLS Cup next year.
