Inter Miami and MLS creep closer to its 2024 schedule release.

According to league commissioner Don Garber, Major League Soccer’s schedule will be announced on Wednesday, December 20th.

Miami will learn who they’ll face on their quest to win MLS Cup.

As the team gets set to play in multiple tournaments next season, Miami is hoping that its schedule will be kind to them.

So far, many pundits and journalists have speculated who the Herons could face in their home opener.

Although there aren’t any concrete rumors, due to Lionel Messi’s presence on the team, many educational guesses suppose that Miami will play its season opener at a stadium with a large capacity.

This season, Inter Miami opened the season with two back-to-back home matches against CF Montreal and the Philadelphia Union.

With Messi on the team, Inter Miami will likely travel to face a side that plays in a stadium with plenty of seating.

On the East Coast, several MLS teams play in large stadiums.

Atlanta United plays at the Mercedes Benz Arena, Charlotte FC plays its home games at Bank of America Stadium, Nashville SC at GEODIS Park, the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium, and NYCFC at Yankee Stadium.

Depending on the demand, Miami could very well travel to any one of these grounds to play its first match of the season.

Although Inter Miami’s home turf DRV PNK Stadium would make for an excellent home opener, the league may want the South Florida team to play elsewhere.

Ultimately, 2024 is shaping up to be a historic year for the team.

Already, there have been leaks detailing matches that the Herons will play next year.

Additionally, not only is the club finalizing details to bring Luis Suárez to the squad, but Miami is also in pole position to land coveted free agent Julian Gressel.

As Inter Miami gears up for its upcoming season opener, one thing is clear, excitement will follow them wherever they go.
